just back from your site gary an loo,just a line to say thanks for a great week at the end of sept...you offer value for money and everything works!!! we were in your tent field all on our own for a lovely peaceful week,an we nicked some blackberrys to take home off your hedges...haha. we will deffo return soon and we both hope your back gets better soon!........see you in 2010 !!!!!!

This is a bit late........ We had a fantastic two weeks at Blue Hills between 25/08/09 to 8/08/09. The site is so well kept and in the ideal location and Gary and Loo are fab! The breakfast bar came in very handy on our last day after packing up our tent. We are defo back next year (will be booking very soon).

We have just returned from the 2 most wonderful weeks at Blue Hills. Gary and Loo are the most wonderful couple, helpful and friendly. Harry would do anything to live in his tent helping Loo with the breakfasts in the new Breakfast Bar, this is definately worth a visit, and just spending time with Gary and his bikes. We had the most chilled evening sitting near the bar enjoying Loo's chilli and banana splits, the atmosphere was great and everyone should try these special evenings, see Loo or Gary for details. The site is clean, quiet with good facilities. We thought that the site was in a good position also to see lots of different areas of Cornwall. Thank you Loo and Gary for making our stay a pleasure, especially Harrys. See you next year!!

We have just returned from campsite and thoroughly enjoyed it despite the weather earlier in the week! Gary & Loo very welcoming and helpful. Would recommend site. Ideal for walkers using coastal path from site.

We had a fantastic time! The campsite is lovely and clean, fresh flowers in the toilet/shower block is a lovely touch and I particularly love the ethnic towel hooks in the shower cubicles. Garry and Loo are brilliant hosts. Garry managed to take some time out to go offroad motorbiking exploring the local byways, with hubby Chris, which kept him very very happy!! Hope you got the DVD??? We shall definitely be recommending you to family and friends and shall be back again when we revisit Cornwall. P.S. We went for an indian at the restaurant Garry recommended in Perrenporth on our last nite - yummy!

We have stayed at the Blue Hills between 3-8 July and it was wonderful. The site is well maintained, it's very clean and comfortable, with excellent kitchen/toilets/showers facilities. And Garry has been the most helpful person in the world, always going this extra mile.
Thank you very much once again, will definitely be back sometime next year!

Well, everything that Steffi said and more...it was a wonderful break in Cornwall for two road weary travellers. Gary and Loo were two lovely people who I wished I could've spent more time getting to know...I'm sure that opportunity will come though :-) I'd wholeheartedly recommend Bluehills to anyone.

Just wanted to say a big thank you to Gary & Loo for going above & beyond when a couple of bedraggled travellers turned up in a storm!
It is a really great campsite and the views from the cliffs, the sunsets and the sky at night just makes you fall in love with Cornwall ... Blue Hills is a really great place to setup camp and explore this amazing county.
Will definately be back soon :)

Thank you Gary and Lou for a wonderful holiday! We have just returned from a 10 day break and feel so relaxed and rejuvinated. The campsite is wonderful, very chilled and in the best position for long walks and white sandy beachs. We are coming back in a few weeks, want to get as many weekends in before winter sets in!

Just returned from Blue Hills after a weeks stay with Gary & Lou. Although the weather was awful for most of the week, we still had a brilliant holiday despite the weather.Without Garys help when we arrived, we would still be trying to put up our Coleman Quadspace in the windy ,rainy weather when we arrived ! If you want a chilled out holiday, this is the place to be ! excellent facilities in a nice quiet location, close to a coastal walk to Trevellas Porth.Thanks very much Gary & Lou for a great holiday, we will see you next year for a two week break (with our new tent with SIG!)

Just returned from a lovely four day holiday at Blue Hills Campsite. The facilities were clean and tidy, the showers were lovely and hot (and free!) and the views/walks were spectacular. Will be recommending this campsite to friends and hoping to return for another holiday in the near future.

It was our fist time at Blue hills, and although the weather was pretty poor the campsite its self was every thing and more of what we wanted..
Very clean, good pitch layout, close to the beach, etc and most of all the owners were very helpfull and great.. Thanks for a great stay we will be back very shortly.

Just back from a week at Blue Hills, had to leave a message to say what a great site this is, well run, clean, simple and not commercialised. With St Agnes and Perranporth on the doorstep this is a hidden gem, I'd reccomend this site to anyone with a love of the outdoors who wants to avoid commercialism.

I have been to this campsite with my family a great number of times over the last 17 years and as we have progressed from tent to caravan, have found it absolutely fantastic. My parents have also stayed at the same site in previous years and we have all found it excellent. It is a very friendly, quiet location near to beaches, walks and all the conveniences and throughout the time I have spent there, and as it has changed hands a few times, the level of service has remained brilliant. Everyone is friendly and helpful and I can't wait to return for my annual holiday two days from now!

we were booked in for a week but had to leave after 5 days. In those days we had a great time although the weather was typical british summer.
The campsite was lovely and Gary and Loo very helpful.
We will definatley be back hopefully with better weather.

My wife and I have just come back from spending 10 days at this site sn to be honest it has to be the best site we have stayed on. Gary is a great guy didn't get a chance to meet Lou. the site is just a little walk from the beach and which has some of the best Sun-sets I have ever seen. the site is very clean and the showers are great and the washing up facilitys are a great bonus. what we also was very impressed about is as we were there it was bank holiday and they didn't cram people in to get the most money as I have seen on other sites. so all in all this is a top site and if you go you WILL want to go again as we will be booking for next year! phil n sarah

My family and I recently returned from this site after an enjoyable two weeks away. We chose this site based on previous reviews and was not disappointed. Lou and Gary are really helpful and are always pleased to answer any questions you may have. The site is clean and well maintained and it was lovely to have fresh flowers in the loos in the morning. The site is also off the main road which means it a really nice quiet site although you do get the occasion small plane fly overhead from the nearby aerodrome (but hey! how many times can you say you get that sort of thing at home). Overall a highly recommended site that provides an ideal base for explore all Cornwall has to offer.
The site is situated well between St Agnes and Perranporth and is situated not far from the stunning cliff tops of the northern coast of Cornwall. A walk behind the site will lead to up to the cliffs and from here you can walk along the coast to either Perranporth or St Agnes. The views are stunning and well worth a look especially towards the end of a day after dinner.
If you are looking for a nice meal then defiantly try The Railway Inn in St Agnes. We had a super meal here and the atmosphere was very calming and relaxing. A really great way to finish off a our holiday.
