Information

Please familiarise yourself with the wardens caravan (in case of emergency)

Food

Please feel free to use the fridge, freezer as often as you like but please label your food and take it out when you go.

Washing

Tokens for the washing machines are available from the wardens @£2. Please use liquid detergent (as our drains can't cope with powder) available for 25p. There is separate sink for handwashing clothes - please do not use this sink for dishes. There is also a tumble dryer which takes 20p coins.

Cars

Drivers - please drive courteously - 5mph Max.

N.B. Only licensed drivers to drive on site.

Shops

We have a small shop for basic items.The nearest shops are in St Agnes or Perranporth about 2½ miles. The nearest pub is the MIners Arms at Mithian and in St Agnes where there is a choice of 7 pubs.

There is a camping/caravan shop about 1 mile away (Aztec Leisure), please ask warden for directions.

Illness

If you require a G.P. during your stay please refer to the notice displayed in the utility room.

Injury

There is a First Aid Kit in the Utility Room.

If you require hospital treatment there is an A & E at The Royal Cornwall Hospital (Treliske) in Truro. Ask wardens for directions.

Dogs

Dogs are permitted entirely at the warden’s discretion.

Please appreciate that not everyone is a dog lover. Keep your dog on a lead & under control at all times. They are not allowed in any part of the buildings, except guide dogs.

Please do not use the campsite or adjacent playing field as an excercise area. There are plenty of open spaces & country walks close by.

Do not allow your dog to foul the campsite, if it happens CLEAN IT UP IMMEDIATELY PLEASE

Facilities

The toilets and showers are open 24 hours likewise the utility room for access to fridges. There is hair-drying stations which accept only 20p coins. Please do not allow young children to use this facility without a responsible adult present. The cubicle also houses a baby changing Unit.

Cooking

Would campers please place instant barbecues and hot pans on a brick or similar to avoid scorching grass.

Recycle

We now have recycle facilities please use the bins provided so we can reduce the rubbish going to our Cornish land fills.
